Water Treatment
Nemco are independent water hygiene specialist and thus are not affiliated to any chemical / specific water treatment specialists preferring to weigh up each case by it’s individual merits and suggest the most cost effective and relevant solution. On occasion, where it is not possible to control Legionella bacteria by maintenance of a strict temperature regime it may be necessary to implement some form water treatment.
Through a network of specialist partners Nemco are able to offer the following range water treatment options;
- Biocide / Chemical supply
- Installation of proportional chlorine dioxide dosing systems
- Copper / silver ionisation units
- Hypochlorite dosing
- UV units
A comprehensive service is offered from installation, ongoing chemical supply through to provision of a qualified engineer to service and adjust units.
It is important to remember that installation of any form of chemical dosing unit does not negate the need for ongoing monitoring. It is still necessary chemical levels with the water to ensure that they are not only sufficient to maintain bacteriological control but also to comply with drinking water regulations.
Cooling Towers & Evaporative Condensers
Nemco are also able to office complete Legionella solutions for cooling towers and evaporative condensers right through from risk assessment and sampling through to supply / servicing of dosing equipment.
Services are available in isolation or as a complete water treatment package.
